The Chairman Message

Citizens, communities, the public, and related government and voluntary organizations, universities, scientific and technical professional associations, and organizations:

Rapid climate change has led to more frequent and severe natural disasters like drought and flood in recent years. The urgent concerns of affected populations worldwide prompted the establishment of this commission. It intends to respond by bolstering the agency of vulnerable groups everywhere, including the poor, the marginalized, and the middle class. Community driven nature rejuvenation will be used to lessen the effects of drought and floods on people's lives, property, and livelihoods, as well as on ecosystems, and to increase people's resilience. We will also compile and disseminate the findings of related studies, reports, and publications that are currently ongoing.

The commission can only complete its mission if everyone involved works together. As a result, I urge you to enthusiastically participate in its actions and activities by contributing your time, expertise, knowledge, reports, and publications of success stories of ongoing actions and proposals, and by assisting in the diffused and decentralized hosting of its activities by you and your organizations around the world in your own ecosystems.

I eagerly await your response.

Dr. Rajendra Singh
